BYD India plant was set up in the year 2007 in Sriperumbudur, Chennai-India. The product scope of BYD mainly focuses on manufacturing plastic covers and keypad for mobile phones. Various technologies adopted in BYD Electronics include injection molding, Sub-Assembly of mobile phone covers, Housing Painting technology, Keypads technology including rubber & plastic keypad and Metal stamping technology.
